Platform Features

Everything behind a running application

Deployment, infrastructure and operations in one platform. Built for your team and the agents it works with.

Core capabilities

Four pillars, one platform

The building blocks that take your application from code to a running service.

1.0

Ask why your pod crashed. AI already has the context.

The AI assistant sees your logs, Kubernetes manifests, Stack deployments, resource states, and events all at once. It correlates symptoms across pods, services, and deployments to pinpoint root causes in seconds.

Caching built in
Cache volumes survive between runs, with restore keys for a warm start when the lockfile changes. Default-branch caches are walled off from branches and forks, so an untrusted ref cannot poison a production build.
Runners ready to go
No runner fleet to register, patch or scale. Every step runs as a Kubernetes Job on your CI cluster, and the cluster autoscaler adds nodes when the queue grows.
Rootless image builds
BuildKit builds rootless inside your cluster and pushes by digest, with an SBOM and provenance on request. If a cluster cannot build, Ankra's builders take over at no charge.
A security gate before publish
Trivy, Semgrep and Checkov scan the code, the infrastructure and the image. Fixable critical and high findings block the publish step until they are fixed.
A preview on every pull request
A pull request deploys the exact image digest its pipeline built to a preview URL, so reviewers click through the change.
AI that reads the failure
Ankra's AI watches runs, explains a red build from its logs and the cluster state, and can open the fix as a pull request for a human to merge.

Ankra Pipelines$13,284 / yr

GitHub-hosted Linux at $0.006 a minute, against 8 always-on cloud-native-8c-16g Ankra Cloud nodes plus the Ankra Platform fee on all 64 of their vCPU. Upkeep is keeping workflows, runner images and caches working, at $100 an engineering hour, and is our estimate. Prices checked 4 October 2026.

Why is the payment-service pod crashing?

Fetching pod events and logs...

I found the issue. The payment-service pod is being OOMKilled due to memory exhaustion.

Event: OOMKilled at 14:32:05
Memory limit: 256Mi
Peak usage: 312Mi
Recent change: Stack "backend" deployed 2h ago

Root cause: The recent deployment increased the connection pool size from 10 to 50, causing higher memory usage.

Fix: Increase the memory limit to 512Mi or reduce the connection pool back to 20.

AI-managed, not provider-managed

Keep the margin a managed service charges.

A managed service bills you for the people who patch, upgrade and fail over the software. Ankra's AI agents do that work on open source you run yourself. Self-hosting everything this way can take hundreds of thousands off a cloud bill every year.

Open source you own
Kubernetes, CloudNativePG, Prometheus, Grafana and Loki, not a provider's proprietary service.
A human approves every change
The AI investigates and prepares the change. Nothing reaches a cluster without a yes.
Nothing to migrate off
Everything is standard Helm and YAML in your Git repository. Leave and it keeps running.

Your engineers stay. The busywork goes.

Operations hours a month for the estate below. Ankra's AI does the investigation and the change; what stays with an engineer is reviewing and approving it.

  • 48 Kubernetes nodes of 8 vCPU and 32 GiB across 3 clusters, 2 highly available PostgreSQL databases, 30 TB of egress and 400k CI minutes a month.
  • Managed cloud: AWS Frankfurt on-demand list prices, Datadog list prices and GitHub-hosted runners. Storage, NAT, support plans and discounts are left out of every option.
  • Ankra Cloud: public catalogue prices. Database nodes use Dedicated CPU plans, which open to new orders soon. Euro prices converted at €1 = $1.15.
  • Your own servers: $32,000 per server (2 × 32-core CPUs, 768 GiB memory, NVMe) written off over 5 years, and $2,500 a month for one rack with power, cooling and 2 × 1 Gbps transit. These are assumptions; your quotes will differ.
  • Both self-hosted options include the Ankra Platform Startup fee on every worker vCPU beyond the 30 free.
  • Engineering time: $100 an hour, from a $139,000 average US DevOps base salary, loaded by 30% for taxes and benefits, over 1,800 working hours a year. The hours per task are our estimate for this estate, not a measurement of yours. The engineers stay: hours the AI takes over are valued at what they cost, then spent on new business instead of operations.
